The University of Connecticut established the Presidential Scholars Program for Valedictorians and Salutatorians. Presidential Scholars are awarded a one-time $2500 grant for educational enrichment.

Scholars may use these funds for a variety of enrichment activities, including study abroad, research, internships, and travel to professional conferences any time during the scholar’s four years as an undergraduate at the University of Connecticut.

Questions about any aspect of the Presidential Scholarship other than the $2500 Enrichment Award should be directed to the Office of Financial Aid.

How to Access Your Funds

Study Abroad: Apply to use your Enrichment funds for Study Abroad as part of the Study Abroad online application.

All other Enrichment activities: please use this Online EnrichmentAward Application.

Scholars who entered the University of Connecticut in 2008, 2009, and 2010 who have already partially accessed their enrichment awards may submit one additional application.
