The Presidential Scholars Award for Valedictorians and Salutatorians is a merit-based scholarship   accompanied by a one-time Enrichment Award that enables scholars to engage in a number of enrichment activities.

The Presidential Scholars Enrichment Award fund of $2,500 can be used by a scholar to fund research, eligible study abroad costs, internship, public service and other enrichment activities during the scholar’s four undergraduate years at UConn.

If you have received a Presidential Scholars Award, we encourage you to review this site carefully. It is important to remember that your application should be submitted 3 to 4 weeks prior to engaging in your enrichment activity. It can take up to 4 weeks to review, approve and process your application.
